All the mansions have an impressive decoration, both on the exterior of the building with the stone beads or the wooden trusses, the elaborate wooden front doors, the marble stairs and the colorful skylights. As well as in the interiors of the houses with the ministers, and the wooden or wood-carved ceilings.
Many mansions have large gardens full of colorful flowers and plants as Pelion is famous for its rich vegetation and fertile soil.
The interiors of the mansions are also impressive. In the past years the wealthy inhabitants of Pelion built mansions for their residences and decorated them with beautiful furniture, carpets, paintings and frescoes, as well as antiques.
